John Mark Tokong Wins the 18th Siargao National Surfing Cup

In the dying minutes of the final round, local favorite John Mark “Marama” Tokong did a remarkable turn of events as he bags another national championship title against Jay-R Esquivel ( La Union), Philmar Alipayo (Siargao) and PJ Alipayo (Siargao).

The 18 year old Siargao local showed dominance in his homebreak as he battled head to head with his fellow Siargaonon, the Alipayo brothers and La Union’s finest young surfer Jay-R Esquivel.
