Pumping Majestic: The Majestic Puraran Surfing Cup 2014 Highlights

Every year Catanduanes celebrates a weekend of surf competition in the famous Majestic waves in the town of Puraran. The Majestic waves of Puraran gave an exceptional swell during the the Majestic Puraran Surfing Cup held last October 8-11, 2014.

Catanduanes island is located in the easternmost part of the Bicol peninsula, separated from the mainland Bicol by the Maqueda Channel and the Lagonoy Gulf.

Here are some highlights of this annual surf event.

The Majestic Puraran Surfing Cup is an annual surfing competition organized by the Local Government Unit of Baras, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Catanduanes and the Catandungan Festival Committee, with the support of the DOT Regional Office 5 and other government agencies and private sectors as sponsors.
