This movie was released in the year 1989. I remember I was on 3rd grade when I watched this movie,”Gleaming the cube”. Because of this movie, I asked my dad that time to buy me a skateboard and he said yes. When he arrived from work,instead of skateboard he bought me roller blades. 🙁

Here is the summary of this movie. Brian’s (Kristian Slater) adopted brother is killed when he discovers that the shop he works in sends weapons to Vietnam instead of medications. To the police it looks like suicide, but Brian knows better so he skates off to investigate the murder himself. Source: www.IMDB.com

This movie highlighted the era skateboarding, tricks and downhill. It was a movie that inspired many teenagers that time to engage in skateboarding.
