My Life on Board Downhill Skate Ambassador Kara Marbe Urbiztondo

One of the most talented female downhill skate athletes in the Philippines from Talisay, Cebu, Kara Marbe Urbiztondo is one tough chick you don”t mess with when it comes to downhill racing. She can pass by through you without any hesitations and will make you feel like a grom on your longboard.

Married to his long time boyfriend, a freerider and a surfer Urso Urbiztondo, Kara is into to the sport of longboarding for quite a while. She’s been traveling all over the Philippines together with her husband balancing her work and longboaridng career to find the perfect stoke. Recently, Kara won the downhill women’s division in Ilo-ilo during the Palumba 2013.

Kara is riding for District Tree Longboards, Free Energy Coop and Joint Outdoor Skateshop. Now she is aiming to improve her skills and to get more sponsors to support her longboarding career and her goal to dominate the 2013 race season.
