John Mark Tokong, Piso Alcala and Philmar Alipayo Will Be Representing the Philippines in this Year’s Hello Pacitan Pro in Java, Indonesia

Three of the country’s finest surfers from Siargao island will carry the flag of the Philippines once again as John Mark Tokong, Piso Alcala and Philmar Alipayo are set to compete for the inaugural World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) 1,000 Hello Pacitan Pro in Java, Indonesia.

The Siargao Trio is part of the 48 male competitors who has travel to Pacitan for an exciting WSL Asia competition as it starts tomorrow with a promising forecast.

Alipayo, who finished second overall in last year’s Asian Surfing Championship Tour is determined to give honor and pride once again for his beloved island of Siargao and for his country. At the same time, Alcala and Tokong has been training hard lately to earn a spot in this year’s WSL Asia rankings.
