This is Cyril Jackson’s third visit here in Manila and he is pumped to meet all the local skaters again. When they were asked how to grow the skate scene in the Philippines to the next level: “Go out and skate. Keep at it and skateboarding will just grow” says Cyril Jackson. “Just be your self and do your thing,” Chase Webb added.

We’re calling all skaters to participate and set a new world record for the push parade from Quirino Grand Stand to Mountain Dew Skate park in Circuit Makati. The DC Go Skateboarding Day celebration is expected to be the biggest skate event of the year. To be hosted by Bea Benedicto and veteran skate personality Norwin Caluya, over P50,000 worth of cash for the winners of the DC Invitational category as well as P100,000 worth of DC products and gift certificates for other winning participants will be up for grabs at the DC Skateboarding event.

More than just about breaking a record, DC’s Guinness Record attempt echoes its core philosophy of defying conventions as much as it is a testament of its passionate commitment to skateboarding.

This June 21, skaters from all over the Philippines are invited to take part in an extraordinary event in Philippine skateboarding history. For more information, follow us on our facebook page DC Shoes, Instagram @dcshoes.ph and hashtag #DCGSD2017.
