October 5, 2013, Sabang Beach, Baler Aurora: it was indeed a perfect day for the wahines to show their skills in catching the beach break waves of Sabang as they compete for the title of the 1st STOKEDinc Philippine Wahine Classic.
Fresh from the barrelling waves of Cloud 9, Siarao, Daisy Valdez from La Union dominated the open longboard division as she managed to catch decent waves during the 1st round and second round of the contest.
In the shortboard division, 13 year old Baler local Zhainday Tena put up a show during the semifinals and gained her momentum to advance in the finals.
For the longboard malahini, Mayleine Olfindo from Catanduanes showed her dominance in every heat beating all novice competitors.
