District Tree Longboards: Davao Sudden Outlaw Race and Slide Jam Fueled by Monster Energy Drink

We met the people behind District Tree Longboards, Taco, El, Cholo and the rest of the team during the Gravity Games Asia Highlands Chase and Visayan longboarding Trilogy in 2011. We promised Taco that one day we will visit Davao City to bomb hills with them and feature District Tree Longboards on Mylifeonboard.net. Last week, that promise was fulfilled.

The longboarding scene in Davao is rapidly growing and the stoke is widely spreading. The Davaoenos are now embracing the sport with the help of District Tree Longboards who spearheaded a local production of good quality longboards in Davao City since 2009.

My Life on Board team visited Davao City to cover a wakeboarding event. We immediately called Taco of District Tree Longboards and told him that we will be in Davao to feature their company and give the local longboarding community  an outlaw race and slide jam competition. With our strong relationship with the local longboarding community in Davao and with their overwhelming support to Mylifeonboard.net the event was a huge success.
