DC Shoes Philippines Signed Grupo Nopo’s Top Downhill Longboard Athletes Ering Ricablanca, Rico Ricablanca, Dandoy Tongco, Bryan Tongco and International Skimboard Athlete Arjun Jimenez as their Official Athletes

DC Shoes, one of the leading action sports brand in the world, exclusively distributed here in the Philippines by Primer Group of Companies, extends their support to Grupo Nopo’s top downhill skate riders as they signed officially with DC Shoes Philippines as part of the DC Team Athletes last September 10, 2012.

The boys from the small town of Opon in Mactan, Cebu, where the group reversed the spelling of it and got their name, has reached this far. From making their own skateboards with the use of roller skates as their trucks, rubber from the tip of a billiard cue to use as their bushings and from merely being a nobody, just doing what they really love, Grupo Nopo has inspired thousands of downhill longboard athletes to pursue their passion and keep riding sideways.

Now, there are more boardsport athletes who works hard to land sponsorships and represent a brand which will signify success towards their career in boardsports. Dandoy, Ering, Rico, Bryan and Arjun are one of those who dreamt of riding for DC, now they actually reap all the hard work they’ve been through.
