14th Gensan’s Tuna Festival Extreme Sports Competition

The tuna capital of the Philippines, General Santos, will be celebrating its 44th charter anniversary. The 14th Gensan’s Tuna Festival will have a theme which rides on the 2012 Department of Tourism campaign “It’s More Fun in the Philippines“. The main objectives of this festival is to promote and showcase local festivities of the Tuna Festival into the national and global scene.

With the popularity of extreme sports nowadays, the 14th Gensan’s Tuna Festival has added an extreme sports competition that will make Gen. Santos City as one of the cities in the Philippines who embraces and supports skimboarding, skateboarding competition and longboard push race competition as a sport.
