Velocity Skimboards LLC are skimboards designed and built by Gary Velo in Santa Cruz, CA. Velocity Skimboards’ goal is to share the life long zeal and fervor that we have for skimboarding through the boards that they build.
This short skim teaser for Velocity Skimboards was shot over the course of 5 hours in one session. 2 cameras, 4 lenses, a few hours of render time and rotoscoping too many frames.
This was a great afternoon filming with part of the Velocity team. We were shooting from 5pm until 9pm and the energy was off the wall from the beginning to the end of the session. Wyatt Colen and Nate Strauss were charging and thus took up the majority of this edit.
